About Our Founder

Hithkari Nursery, Bangalore had a humble beginning in the back yard of its promoter Dr Kariyanna’s house in Yelahanka, Bangalore, close to the University of Agriculture sciences GKVK campus, way back in year 1989.
Prior to venturing into Nursery business Dr Kariyanna served at prestigious UAS GKVK, Bengaluru with meritorious academics in graduation in year 1981 post graduation in year 1983 and doctorate in Horticulture in year 1988 from the same institution .
Today the nursery is spread over an area of 10 Acres, holds all necessary infrastructure for a modern scientific nursery, in Muthagadahalli Village, close to IIHR near Hesaragatta and another 10 acres of Nursery in nearby Tumkur district.
